Like Mother, Like Daughter?

You know what they say about the apple and the tree... . Ellie attended the birthday party of her friend Irelyn a couple of weeks ago. Irelyn's mom, Autumn (Mrs. Right - check out her awesome web site on right side thinking HERE), did a cheerleading theme and, using Facebook, managed to secure a couple of high school cheerleaders to come teach the girls some cheers, do stunts, jumps, etc. Well, Ellie loved it and seemed to be a natural. The girls asked if I had thought about getting her into cheerleading - DUH! Apparently they can start pretty early in competition squads. Don't know if we'll do that; but it was flattering that they thought she had natural talent. Can you tell I'm proud?

Feeling Tired?

Do you ever feel this tired?!
We were over at a friend's house Monday night and put Aubrey in their room to sleep - in her carseat. When we went to get her a couple of hours later, this is what we found! Look how close her feet were to the edge! Poor thing - she really loves sleeping on her tummy and unfortunately had a very bad hairdo when we got her up!

Happy Baptism, Aubrey!

Aubrey was officially welcomed into our covenant family this past Sunday. This baptism has such symbolism and this time big sister got to stand beside her - she was so proud! Aubrey did great - it doesn't hurt that she sees our pastors every day while at work with mommy!

Sweet big sister:)

Happy girl teething!

I just love the difference in height represented here - and that's with 3" heels on!

My Couponing LIfe!

I've finally begun really posting my transactions and how much I save versus spend and the value of it all. I just had to share that so far this month I've spent $85 on $246 worth of groceries and toiletries. And that's with two extra unplanned trips for specific needs that had no coupons. That means I've saved 65% so far. I'd say that's pretty good. My budget is $250 for the month and with only 2 1/2 weeks left to go, that shouldn't be difficult. Y'all, the time and effort is so worth it and I have so much more food and toiletries than I ever had before. If you want to learn more and start saving your pennies - especially since the government can't save theirs and plans to give us a hefty bill - visit www.frugalcouponmom.com to learn how. She's doing a seminar at Wildwood Church in Tallahassee in two weeks and one in Panama City next week.
